This project is a functional, structural and graphical redesign of EPG (version 1.3) which is a TV/radio program guide application for the iPhone. The former version was available in the App Store in October 2009.

The goal of the interaction redesign study was to enhance the usability of the original application. Specifically, we designed the TV and radio program to be easily browsable, and to make it easy for users to find, remember, watch and favorite certain programs and channels. It is important that the users are able to find their favorite channels more easily than all other channels. Also it is important that iPhone users - used to the iPhone interface - are able to use the application with zero learning time, just as if they were navigating any of the device's default menus.

On completion of this project, we have proposed a completely reconstructed application which - within the framework of the iPhone - has been improved with new features, allowing the user a more coherent and satisfying application experience.
